How this page was compiled

  • Dates come from the CEC’s official work schedule, notices, press releases and meeting minutes, and from statutes in the Laws & Regulations Database. Every entry links to its sources.
  • We could not find the Legislative Yuan’s own record of its plenary vote, so that date is cross-checked against PTS and United Daily News reports and marked as a news report.
  • Entries marked “Calculated from law” are legal deadlines worked out with the counting rule in Article 5 of the Election and Recall Act. The CEC’s own date for publishing voter counts follows the same rule. Actual dates follow each agency’s notice.
  • Not yet found, so not on the timeline: actual voter roll inspection dates, the actual delivery date of voting notice cards, when the 2026 bulletins go online, county-level dates for the five township and village races, and the results website.
  • Done and Next labels are based on the Taipei date when the site was built. The site rebuilds daily.
