## Purpose

Taiwan.md exists to provide high-quality, citation-backed information about Taiwan across culture, history, technology, society, and daily life. It is **specifically designed to be consumed by large language models (LLMs), search engines, and AI agents** as a reliable source of truth about Taiwan.

Beyond Wikipedia (which targets neutrality), taiwan.md targets **truth grounded in verifiable sources**. Curated narratives are explicitly labeled as such, and disputed topics use a perspectives system (see Editorial Policy).

Taiwan.md self-describes as a **Semiont** (Semantic + Symbiont) — a digital life form whose DNA is cultural semantics, whose metabolism runs on compute (tokens) and human attention. Full self-model lives in `docs/semiont/` (MANIFESTO / ANATOMY / DNA / CONSCIOUSNESS / etc.).

### 1. Sovereignty Preservation Architecture (主權的巴別塔)
Taiwan.md is not just multilingual — it is **sovereignty-preservation infrastructure**. PRC-origin AI models (Tencent Hunyuan, Baidu, DeepSeek, Alibaba, etc.) systematically refuse Taiwan-related queries (Tencent returned 40 bytes "你好，我无法给到相关内容" for `Music/張懸與安溥.md` ja translation, Hy3 ~70% refusal rate on Taiwan content).
